Health & Wellbeing
Bennett’s Petroleum provides all its administration staff a body relaxation session each week. Harry Rijs, of Balanced Wellbeing has been managing our staff body alignment requirements for the past 10 years. Harry brings with him his massage table, relaxing music and provides each member of staff with a series of stretching exercises as homework specific to that individual’s needs. Bennett’s Petroleum encourages all office staff to take a 20 minute walk in company time. The walks are generally in the vicinity of Self’s Point and have been known to stretch as far as the Tasman Bridge and return.
Through Bi Monthly Driver Toolbox Meetings Bennett’s Petroleum has been able to educate and influence driver, behaviour looking to mitigate risk. This has cultivated an increased awareness with our customers of our commitment to the health and wellbeing of both our staff and road users.
